- Campaigned to the University of Northern Colorado Students and Board of Trustees and was approved to form the universities first green fund
- Fought for and won student majority, 220,000 dollar annual budget, and compensation for the President and Public Relations committee positions
- Networked with Joe Indvik, green fund consultant in Washington, DC and Shoshana Blank, senior research fellow for the Sustainable Endowments Institute in Cambridge, MA
- Held elections and filled the Vice President, Public Relations, Secretary, and Treasurer committee positions with passionate and competent students
- Commissioned a UNC student, Joelle Romero, to design Student LEAF’s logo based on William’s creative idea
- Engaged students at the Community Fest, Colin Beaven presentation, Gasland documentary screenings, Josh Fox presentation, Dead Week cookie giveaway, and during our weekly schedules meetings
- Approved our first infrastructure project, a $75,000 sprinkler system upgrade that will increase water efficiency, improve the campus landscape, and minimize the spraying of students as they walk to class
- Collaborated with the University Programs Council and Off-Campus Director for the 2013 Earth Day week long event
- Created a facebook, twitter, website, and display board for the organization
- Presented at the LEAP (Leader Engaging in Action through Passion) Summit
- Participated in print media inquiries from University publications such as The Mirror and The Claw (magazine) in order to share who we are, what we are doing, and how the campus community can get involved.
